We have eight infants between the ages of six weeks and one year along with two staff members. The caterpillars are always busy exploring and discovering new and fun things. We do a variety of hands-on projects with the infants following a developmentally appropriate weekly curriculum. You may find the children playing in a bucket of oats, having tummy time, listening to stories, and most of all having fun in their new world. We have an outdoor playground that we share with the butterfly room, and go outside whenever possible. Our teaching approach is getting on the floor at their level and letting them explore the world around them using all sorts of mediums. The caterpillar room is a peaceful and loving environment, where babies are able to grow and thrive.

~All four of my children have been able to attend the Children's Center. We have been so very blessed to have met such wonderful and caring teachers and staff. When it was time to bring my youngest to daycare I thought of no where else but The Children's Center. J. Lunny
