The Rainbow Room enrolls up to 18 children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 4 years old. We have 3 full time teachers with over 20 years of combined experience at this site. Children in this room learn together through manipulation of materials and hands on experiences. We have a very detailed and developmentally appropriate curriculum that is continually updated and modified to reflect and meet the individual needs of our children. We feel truly honored to work with these children at such a valuable and exciting time of their lives. The Rainbow Room is a great place to learn, grow and explore!!
~I have loved having my children attend The Children's Center. My daughter attended both the Kittery and Sanford Centers over 5 years ago. Today my son attends the Sanford Center. What I like best is that the teachers are the same for both of my children. The fact that the teachers are still there, shows me that the teachers and the center are dedicated to the care and future of children. They are experience and knowledgeable in childcare education. ~Cassandra has been here since she was an infant. I just returned from my third tour in Iraq and Afghanistan., and The Children's Center kept me up to date with Casey very well. I couldn't ask for more than I got. Thank you to The Children's Center and a special thanks to Marie for keeping Casey and myself together even after being 6,800 miles away. -Richard King
